What a Foreign Student Should Do in China

    Studying in China, any foreign student is very likely to come upon something he finds it hard to adjust himself to, particularly as far as culture is concerned.  He should try to get used to the Chinese way of living with a view to yielding more fruitful results.

    He should, first of all, have a god command of both spoken and written Chinese, which will enable him to fully express himself. Next, he must expose himself as often as possible to native students so as to learn of the values Chinese hold. East but not the least, he must stay open-minded, housing different viewpoints, dealing with people modestly.

    As the saying goes,   "When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” This is what a foreign student should do to study in China.
