Dear Tom,
I am writing to you to invite you to my party which will is to be held at my house at 8:00 a.m., December 15th.
As you know, I will go abroad (to take a more advanced course of study at) for college next year and we will have little time to get together then, so I decided to hold this party. If you could prepare two or three songs for the party, it will be what I expect to. Besides, in respect that we will play several games, do not be wearing too formal. I am going to supply the friends with potluck at the appointed time, so you’d better not have meal at home.
I hope that you have no previous engagement and can join us on time. I am looking forward to your reply.
