A story
It happened in Switzerland. Once there was a little girl about 14 years old. I don’t her name; I just give her a name Kitty.
Kitty was poor. She lost her father when she was very young. Only her mom brought her up alone. I’m sure all of you know that how difficult it is for a mother to rear her child alone. Unfortunately the mother was a street cleaner. She couldn’t make a lot of money. They were poor. But the mother didn’t care about it; she tried her best to make money to make Kitty go to the university.
When Kitty was about 10 years old, she found that all of her classmates were very rich; they could buy anything which they liked. But Kitty couldn’t. Little by little, she became sad. Because her mother couldn’t give her anything. She began to hate her mother. She didn’t understand why her mother was a street cleaner. She didn’t want to talk to her mother too much. When she want to call her mother, she shouted:“Hey come on”. Or “that’s ok, go away”. Soon she didn’t get good grades; her study became worse and worse.
Her mother was very worried about her. She wanted to say something to Kitty. To her disappointed, Kitty never gives her any chance to have a talk. She always said:“No I’m busy”, and so on.
One day, her mother needed to talk with Kitty, but Kitty still didn’t give her any chance. So she decided to take her to go skating. She wanted to make a good chance to talk with her cheerfully. But Kitty thought:“Ah I don’t care. You will pay for it. I don’t care.” When they reached the big snowy mountain, Kitty felt more relaxed. The mother didn’t want to spend more money, so she let Kitty skate alone. She was waiting for a chance to talk to Kitty. Unluckily Kitty knew her mother too much; she knew that her mom would say a lot to her. So she always skated far away from her mother. When she meet her she said:“Oh I will go to buy some drink.” “I want to go to the toilet.” and so on.
