一道英语题(在线等候啊!!!!!!!)拜托了。。
In Britain, no town is more than eighty miles from the sea. There are holiday places all round the coasts.
The South Coast is Britain’s warmest and sunniest region. Along the whole coastline from Dover to Land’s End are seaside towns with hotels, cafes and restaurants. Brighton is one of the best-known south coast resorts. People there like to travel on foot at day time.
The people in the industrial north like to spend their holidays in Blackpool. Blackpool is a noisy town. At night people travel from miles around to see the beautiful lights on the sea front.
Southend, on the east coast at the mouth of the Thames, is the favourite holiday place of Londoners, especially those from the East End. People come by train, car and ship to enjoy themselves there.
These are only a few of all the holiday places along Britain’s coastline. In the last fifty years or so, holiday places of every kind have been set up to meet the Englishman’s need to spend a part of the year by the seaside.
