Distinguished judges,ladies and gentlemen.Today,the topic of my speech is “be myself”.
Who am
Everybody has a different definition,and I will say,“I am one in a million.”
There are over 6 billion people in the world,but every one is unique.We have our own appearances,our own voices and our own characters.
I am unique!
I am confident.No one is perfect.We have our own advantages and disadvantages.However,sometimes we care so much about our disadvantages that we admire others blindly and even lose ourselves.
I believe myself.
I remember,in my primary school,once my math teacher and I had different ways of soling a math question.Although my teacher was good at math,I thought I was right at that time,
At last,my teacher was a little bit angry because nobody ever argued with her about math.But the next day,she apologized and told me that I was right.
I felt very excited and suddenly realized that I can’t be afraid of failures,even if nobody agrees with me.Next time,I would smile and say,“I am right.I will prove one day!”
I appreciate myself.Find the senses of achievements from everything,such as a successful exam,a praise from other people,no matter how small it is.I learn to appreciate myself.The life will be better and better.
Be myself,I am going to be a brave person.Courage is important to us.Sailors are not afraid of the storms,policemen are not afraid of the criminals,and I am not afraid of the difficulties,either.
Be myself,I am going to stand alone.Don’t need to depend on other people.We depend on our parents to look after our lives,depend on our teachers to teach us the lessons.But we must learn to be independent,because one day,we have to look after ourselves and learn by ourselves.
Be myself,try to have our own personality.Find the sky of our own.The life will be more colorful and beautiful.

On listening to your speech,I understand that you have a strong character and you are not afraid of difficulties.Have you come across any difficulties in the past?If yes,can you cite an example of what kind of difficulty it was and how you managed to overcome it?
