鲁肃私自拔了二十条快船,按诸葛亮说的准备好.第一天第二天诸葛亮没有动静,直到第三天四更时,诸葛亮秘密地把鲁肃请到船里.
这时候大雾弥漫 ,江上面对面都看不清,船靠近曹军水寨,诸葛亮下令把船头朝西船尾朝东,一字排开,又叫船上军士一边擂鼓一边大声的喊.
曹操听到鼓声呐喊声,就下令.
曹操派一万多名弓弩手一齐朝江中放箭,诸葛亮又下令把船掉过来,船头朝东,船尾朝西,擂鼓呐喊,靠近曹军受箭.天渐渐亮了,雾还没散,这时候,船上的草靶子上插满了箭.

Hearing the drum-beatings and shouts,Cao Cao orders more than ten thousand soldiers to shot arrows towards the river,Zhuge orders the soldiers to turn round the ships,the head faces east while the tail west,then beat the drums and shout,move closer to Cao Cao in order to get the arrows.It's beginning to get light,while the fog is still not clear,Zhuge's ships are covered by arrows,.
Cao Cao realizes he is fooled by Zhuge,however it is to late to run after his ships.After getting back,Lu told Zhou Yu the arrow-borrowing process of Zhuge.
