The third intriguing tropical-island adventure in the Nim’s Island series with two films already completed and a third one planned.
Nim’s adventures first shot to fame with the movie Nim’s Island, which has been followed by a second movie, Return to Nim’s Island, to be released in May 2013 in the USA (April in Australia). Although publication is not planned until early 2014 work is underway on Nim’s Island 3 (working title) both in terms of the novel and the film script. In Nim’s Island, Nim had to rescue her father when he was caught in a wild storm at sea.
In Nim at Sea, Nim had to rescue her sea-lion friend, Selkie, from villains who stole her away on their cruise ship.
Now in Nim’s Island 3, Nim’s beautiful tropical island has been declared a sanctuary, so Selkie, and Nim’s pet marine iguana Fred, and all the other fauna and flora are protected. Nim’s father invites a group of scientists to the island for a conference but two of the visitors have other motives for coming and are there to steal something very special... and they'll go to any lengths to get it. Nim has to save someone's life, but will she be able to save her island too?
