Growing under the loniness,suffer in pain,fighting with the sense of pride,live out from the poor life,this is the "Fog City Orphan'-Oliver created by Degance.Oliver grew up in the orphanage,he is never loved by anyone,living in the hell-like life.when he was nine,he is being send to a coffin-shop as a apprentice,because he cannot accept the inhuman treatments from the boss,he fleet to London,never thought he is gulled by a theif and entered the den.Luckily he is rescue by a good man and live up a peaceful life.This ending is good but the process to this was miserable.
I really don't know he have such strong mind under his skiny flesh; I don't know he have such strong mind under the famine,the lonliness,the sadness and the pain; I will never know the reason why his pride still erects even thought after all these wrecks.
Oliver's childhood is fulfilled with sadness,and how about us!
Living in the honeypot,under caring of our parents,but tend to miss the true meaning of happiness,and blindly complaing about the little disatisfaction in the life.
