I’ve read a book called A Christmas Carol.The book talks about a mean man became generous on a Christmas Eve.
In the book,there is an old,mean man called Scrooge.He didn’t like Christmas.He cared nothing but money.On a Christmas Eve,he refused to attend his nephew’s Christmas party and chucked two men who collected for the poor.In midnight,he met his business partner’s specter.The specter warned him not to be mean.After the specter,he met three sprites——sprite of Christmas past,sprite of Christmas Present & ghost of Christmas future.They each showed him his past,his future (if he keep mean) and present of people around him.He was moved.So when he woke up on the second morning,he became generous.
This book talks about one thing:money isn’t so important.Obviously money is necessary,but people should pay more attention people around you,such as family members,friends and employees .etc.Money can’t make you happiness for a long time,but people can.Also,if you good to someone,that person will good to another person.At last,you’ll be affected.
The book is interesting and it moved me .It also taught me a lot,such as be kind to others.I like this book.
