The One Foundation and its many partners have quickly rallied to answer the call for relief,coordinating with the disaster site within 24 hours to pitch in help,and reaching out to the greater world community to call for additional aid.Tencent Charity Fund has already donated 1 million RMB to the One Foundation through the Red Cross Society to secure and send medical and other disaster relief supplies to the victims.Tencent,Sohu,Taobao,Tianya,Yahoo,NetEase (and a rising number of others),have also actively coordinated with the One Foundation to begin online donation campaigns,gathering the hearts and thoughts of the greater community and sending them to the disaster victims.The Shanghai Media Group,along with 7 other networks across the nation,has been working closely with the One Foundation to develop programs to contribute emotional,as well as material,support to the victims.Other philanthropic organizations,such as Qiao Jiangnan,are also working with the One Foundation to further channel warmth and help to the disaster victims.
