A and B are having coffee at the Starbuck in Nanjing Street, Shanghai, patiently waiting for the rain to stop.
A: I hope the rain would stop soon!
B: So do I, as I have to join our tour group in an hour's time.
A: Where are you heading from Shanghai?
B: We are going to Suzhou by coach, I am looking forward to visit the silk factory, and to buy some silk materials for my wife.
A: Is this your first visit to China?
B: No. I went to Chengdu, Sichuan in April 2008, only a couple of weeks before the gigantic earthquake struck.
A: It was a great disaster that bring our people even closer together, fighting to save lives in affected areas.
B: I, and people in the West, were very impressed by the rescue plans, that were put in place by the Chinese government, to deal with the situation.
A: Well, there are still lots to be done. So where would you go after Suzhou?
B: I'll come back here and then fly home to UK via HongKong next Thuesday.
A: Good, the rain has finally stopped! I wish you a safe journey and have a good time in Suzhou.
B: Thank you and good-bye.
