call 这个词要用被动语态的时候,必须出现人称代词,你这里说is called 但是by who呢?你改成主动call的时候,你自己也加了一个“we”,对不对?所以现在分词,即动词ing形式可以做后置定语,相当于一个省略了的定语从句.于是The film calling "Monkey King"is on these days.等于The film which is calling "Monkey King"is on these days.
再来个例子,看是不是能够让你更好理解,call这个动词比较特殊一点,比如：
