Is conscience a move powerful motivator than money fame or power?
Denouncing people’s desire of pursuing money, fame, or power is unreasonable, and sometimes we regard these factors as parts of a success. Moreover, the success should build on conscience; otherwise, it will lose its value and be spurned by people. In fact, when we want to do something we should put conscience in priority rather than something else like wealth or honor.
Conscience can motivate people to breach their social restrictions and resistances. Nightingale, a famous nurse who used to be an up-class woman in England saw people suffering a great painful caused by lacking of good care. She disregard her family against discriminate and her up class life with fortitude to be a nurse taking good care to the patients. After her careful nursing, many people regained their health. It is obviously that her conscience gave her courage and motivation to do her loving nursing under the press of family and society.
Though the people like nightingale are much nobler than most people in the world, as an ordinary person, I usually ask myself whether what I will do is under the standard principle of conscience. For example, as a leader in student union, I will never perform as a leader in a certain activity, no matter how honorable it will be, if there is another person who can do it better than me. While I am not applauding how noble I am, I just to say many people will have a same choice if they face a similar situation.
Not only individuals are motivated by conscience, the government also tackle issues base on its conscience, for our modern society is not always a money or power leading one. Our government, for example has closed many pollute factories for people’s health. closing these fact ones is no doubt will decline the income of the government and may cause an unexpected confliction between the government and the entrepreneur of those closed factories. Motivated by its conscience of its residents rather than by its own interests, the government finally worked out this plan.
In a word, from these and such like considerations, it requires no more argument to prove that conscience is a more crucial factor than others to both society and individuals. Correspondingly, only doing things base on consideration of conscience can obtain the public’s admire and respect.

哈哈我来接着改吧.最近要考试了,顺便锻炼一下.大人见笑了:)
It may be hypocritical to denounce people’s worldly fervor for money, fame and power - the recognised symbols of success. However, achivements should be based on people's conscience, or else the significance of success suffers irreversible debilitation. In fact, conscience, rather than wealth or honor, should take the first priority.
Conscience can spur people to unshackle themsleves from social restrictions, and fight courageously against unjustified resistance. A once- upper-class English lady, Nightingale painstakingly witnessed people's immense sufferances in the absence of proper medical care. She adamantly disregarded her family and the prevalent societal discrimination, forgoing her affluent life to take up a nursing career. Thanks to her carefulness, many people regained health. Admittedly, her conscience has impelled her to fulfill her desired missions despite the stress of family and society.
While such spirit of unrequited contribution, as manifested by Nightingale, is indeed rather isolated in the real world, ordinary people such as I am should nevertheless examine our behaviors accordint to the general ethical guidelines. For example, as a leader in the student union, I have never deprived a more suitable member's opportunity to organise certain activities, despite the prestige that might ensue. I believe such virtues of intergrity, humbleness and rectitude are evident in the conduct of many.
Not only individuals, but also the government frequently tackles issues base on its conscience, for money or power are no longer the sole impetus of our modern society. For example, many goverments take an intrasigent stance against the polluting factories, closing the serious offenders with consideration of public health. While real threats, such as the declining tax revenue and protests from these powerful industrial giants persist, the authorities insist to pursue a more sustainable and conducive environment, acting honourably in accordance with the interest of their residents. Clearly, egocentric interests are sidelined here.
In a word, the aforementioned instances clearly suggest that conscience is a more crucial factor of consideration than the others for both the society and the individuals. Probably, acting in accordance with the commonly accepted principle of conscience can command public admiration and respect.
