therefore不是说不能做连接词吗?那么在“As we know,knowledge is important for us,therefore,we must study hard.”中therefore又是做什么成分呢?
还有,我可以说“we must do study hard.”表强调吗?
therefore不是连词！

therefore虽然可以表示“因此,所以”的意思,但在英语中是副词,而不是连词,因此不能单独用来连接两个独立句,而必须添加and等连词,或另起一句.
先说说我的看法 我认为这里therefor是做插入语来讲的 是副词而已.另外那个do是强调句的 !
