    Is it necessary to practice handwriting？           

Our head teacher asks us to practice every day to improve our handwriting. But the students have different opinions about it. Thus a heated debate took place in our class.

30% students consider handwriting less important than before. In a world of the Internet more and more people nowadays prefer the keyboard to the pen for it is fast convenient and clear. What’s more most documents are required to be electronic edition.

However 70% students have the opposite opinion. They think Chinese handwriting is an important part of our traditional culture. Though computers are very convenient handwriting still plays an important role in the modern world and our daily life. Besides beautiful handwriting makes a good impression on others which shows your personality and attitude to doing things.

In my opinion Chinese characters are very beautiful and rich in culture. And when we read a neatly written article we feel pleased and relaxed.
