I am very pleased to present a brief introduction of myself.
In the June of 1986,I was born in an ordinary family in the beautiful,ancient city ----**,my parents being workers in a factory.As the only child of my parents,I was taught to be a good boy and work hard from childhood.
I did well in my elementary and junior high school at my hometown,and at the age 15 I was admitted to**senior high school of ** Province,a famous high school in my county.I received a good education there.Hard as I worked in the three years,I’ve learnt a lot ranging from science to arts with my value of the world changing gradually.To my great honor,I won the first prize of the National English Competition and the third prize of Biology Competition of **Province in the second year.After graduation,I came to the Chemical Engineering Department of **University .
During about 3 years’ stay in the university that led me into the world of chemical engineering up to now,not only did I make great efforts on the study,but also I paid attention to things outside the class.Enjoying all the courses and trying my best,I won the first prize of the scholarship three times and the third once,a solid evidence to my hard work ,maybe (though I believe scores and talent can’t be equalized).In addition to chemistry,I had a variety of interests,reading,writing,singing,especially foreign languages learning.About two years ago,I joint the Secretary Department of the Students’ Union,a lot of duties being put on my shoulders which trained me a lot ,gave me valuable experience on handling matters and taught me to see things from different perspectives.Besides,I exerted my strong suit of writing as a member of the Journalist Party of the school,doing interviews and writing reports.With everyday accumulation,I am now familiar with English and mastered some Japanese.Other than the two,I have also learned and practiced in some German.These days,my attentions are focused on the subject of the Creativity Funds of our department,which in my opinion,relates what we have learnt (theoretical study) with practice.I am feeling strongly that the actual practice and theoretical study are equally important and dependent on each other.My love for my major pushed me to apply for a postgraduate school of chemical engineering in the coming year.
My goal in the future is to get a Ph.D.degree.I will concentrate on the field of chemical engineering,and try my best to make a breakthrough on this subject.
