Although there are a lot of people have the view that it is important to have the trainning and expertise for a specific job,I hold my point strongly that it is more important to have the ability to adapt to a new job and environment.Having the ablility to adapt to a new job or environment is really crucial,especially for college students or new employees in their first year.Take my roommates for example.We are from all around the country,and we all have a tough time in our senior high school.Every morning we got up early,and then studied hard for the whole day.In school,our teachers told us how to study and when to finish our plans.At home,our parents arranged everything for us,we didn't need to know how to prepare for supper and so on.However in college,there is no one reminds us of everything every day,we are independent but most of us are confused about ourselves.What should we do during our college on earth?In my dorm,thanks to more free time in college,some of them just play computer games all day long,and it isn't astonishing that they get failed in their final exams.While others adapt to colloge in our fisrt year at time,we try to foster our ability to study by ourselves and we try to take use of our free time to acquire more knowledge during our college.What should be noticed is that,in China,my university is good enough to attract many skilled students to attend,we are all the presons who have specific skills.What about doctors?There are a lot of outstanding doctors,who have specific skills,however most of them are used to advanced advices,which makes it difficult for them to cure patients in some rural areas where have little advanced facilities.Once there is an emergency occurs,the doctors will have no idea to control the situation becuase of the lack of the ability to adapt to the poor environment.However having the training and expertise for a specific job is important,because the training and expertise are the stepping-stones for employees to apply for a specific job.If one has no specific skills,he or she may probably has no chance to have a further interview.But it does not means the person by no means to have the job.But I still think the ability to adapt the new environment is much more crucial than the ability to have training and expertise for the specific job with the above reasons.
