China is a country with a long history so it has many customs.

When we meet somebody it’s important for us to shake hands with each other. It is used to show a warm and friendly welcome and respect to the other person. If somebody invites you to a party you must arrive at the party on time. When you are at table you mustn’t put your chopsticks upright in the rice bowl. You should lay them on your dish instead. You can’t point at others with your chopsticks either. It is also rude to talk with food in your mouth at table.
