Last year，Joseph Medina，a 15-year-old student at West School in California，US，spent most of his time improving his poor math scores，but had little success．Recently，he joined the Interactive （互动的） Math Program （IMP） class．

Another student，Lorena Garcia，15，almost completely gave up math last year．After she took part in the IMP class，her math score rose quickly．One of the ways she enjoys is learning by teaching primary school kids．
"I have to do a lot of work before teaching them，but it also helps me to understand math clearly，"Garcia said．"I realize interacting（互动） with others is a successful way for me to make a math problem easier．"
