假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文，请你修改你同桌系的以下作文。文中共有10处语言错误，每句中最多有两处。错误涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改。增加：在缺词处加一个漏词符号（∧），并在其下面写出该加的词。删除：把多余的词用斜线（／）划掉。修改：在错的词下划一横线（＿），并在该词下面写出修改后的词。

注意：1.每处错误及修改均仅限一词；

          2.只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不计分。

    It was a hot afternoon. My friend and I decide to have an adventure in her basement where we found some paint in bright colors. We gathered all the brush we could find and moved all the materials to my yard. There on the road in the front of my house we painted big stripes of colors. Stripe by stripe our colors turned in a beautiful rainbow.

The sun was starting to sink. I saw a car in the distance and jumped down as I recognized it. It pulled slowly into the driveway and from the look on my mother face I could tell how deep trouble I was in..

My mother walked towards me and ordered me clean my art up. Tears ran down my cheeks as I saw my beautiful rainbow turn into black cement. Though many years have passed but I still wonder where my rainbow has gone. I guess we all need some sort of rainbow to brighten our lives and to keep our dreams color.
