首先 第一个句子 furniture 是主语 是不可数,with.colours是做插入语（可以省略掉再看题目）,suit是谓语,因为furniture是第三人称 所以谓语用单数.
第二个是因为the best 在这个句子中做 for的宾语,that做宾语也可以省略,wish在这里是不及物动词不能直接加宾语,所以要用for,与此类似的还有 this is the room i live in
