Turning on the television,I wa surprised to see my former classmate Lee Ying on teleivision receiving the first prize for a speech competition.I couldn't help but remember the first time I met her,which remains clear in my mind even today.It was August 22 five years ago,on a sunny Wednesday.At that time,she was always afraid to speak out,but as we became friends,she became much more confident in her own abilities and was no longer shy,and is now even the one to make our school proud by receiving first prize on a national competition.Thinking about the way she had changed,I couldn't help but take pride in her changes,and wondered it maybe it was time for me to change as well.
