 Mother’s Day which was founded in America first falls on the second Sunday in May. It has become an international festival up to now. On the special day mothers will receive all kinds of gifts from their children and husbands. Carnation which is the symbol of mothers is regarded as the special flower for the day. Mother’s Day was introduced into China at the end of 20 ^th century and now all the Chinese are familiar with the festival very much. Nowadays Chinese as well as people all over the world show their thanks to their mothers in their own ways such as cooking a special but delicious meal drawing pictures or performing music for mothers. As for me in order to thank my mother I will do all the housework and send a card as well as buying some flowers for my mother on that day. Hopefully all the mothers will be happy forever.
