"Your letter dated 6th May ) mentioned that 50 cartons of the herbs (out of the 3000 cartons under the AD-2 Order) which arrived at the port were degenerated.We regret to hear this.Our company exports herbs to many parts of the world for many years and we enjoy a certain degree of reliable reputation in the global market.Before shipment,we always undertake stringent examinations.If it is confirmed that we are liable for the damaged herbs,we are willing to compensate.However,we would like to point out that the bill of lading had remarked that the goods were in good order at the time of shipment.We therefore would like to suggest you make your claim against the shipper/transporter instead.Please let us know if you need to order another 50 cartons of the herbs to make us for the damaged goods.We are ready to supply.Thank you."
