Culturally,China and Europe differs vastly.Their main differences lie in their festives,language,food culture and moral values.
In China,the most important celebration of the year is the Chinese New Year,which marks the start of a new year on the chinese calendar.Such celebration takes 15 days,and each day holds a special meaning in chinese believes.In Europe however,it is different.The most important festival is Christmas,which marks the birth of Christ.Christmas consist of only three days,namely,Christmas eve,Christmas and boxing day.
The language used in China and Europe differs significantly as well.Chinese is the main and offical language used in China.Other languages although exist,is used by only a small number of chinese,and are often labelled as dialects.On the other hand,in Europe,although many countries use English as their offical language,they each have a distinctly different national language,such as Italian in Italy and Greek in Greece.
The food culture is another factor which China and Europe differs in.In China,the staple food is rice,with meat as side dishes.However,in Europe,the staple food is bread or potato,with meat as the main course of the meal.
Values in China and Europe are largely different.Humility,mediocracy and loyalty are values which the Chinese pride themselves with.This cause them to be much less open with their emotions and opinions.This is the exact opposite of European beliefs.Although it does not mean that Europens are not humble or loyal,they generally believe in individualism and confidence,where the opinions and ideas of oneself is equally important than that of others.
