关于去美国从加拿大转机两次,是否需要办理过境签证,我发邮件将自己的情况询问加拿大领事馆,
得到如下回复.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please be advised that citizens of certain countries and territories need a visa to visit or transit Canada.
However,
the Canada Border Services Agency and Citizenship and Immigration Canada have established the China Transit Program (CTP).The program allows Chinese nationals to transit a participating Canadian international airport,on their way to and from the United States,without a Canadian transit visa if they meet these requirements:
hold a valid U.S.visa;
travel on an approved airline; and
leave from one of the following cities (as last point of embarkation) before arriving in Canada:
Beijing
Guangzhou
Shanghai
Hong Kong
Manila
Taipei

Hi I am a Chinese who have booked a flight ticket to USA.The plane will stop twice in Canada,in Vancouver and Calgary.I am told that I need a Canada visa to finish the flight.Is it true?If that is the case,how can I apply it?
现行政策改了吗?根据这封邮件,即使转机两次,也就不需要过境签证了吧...

根据上面写的,同一航空公司不需要签证和某些有大城市国际机场,最近的新政策也有听说过.但是为了保险起见,还是给国内的航空公司打电话问问吧.
不行就半个过境签,资料全了,二三个小时就完了.
