Pursuing my career goals
In five years,I would like to be an accountant,
and I will reach this goal by finishing both GE and major
required courses,transferring to a four years university to
earn my bachelor’s degree in business and acquiring the
experience by working in a company.Firstly,I need to finish my
general education and lower division major requirements in west
valley college.Because the general education is very crucial
for college students.without a GE certification,people will
think you lack of competition and probably will not hire you as
a employee.Even though you get a position,they still decide
that you should get paid less than others who have higher
education,at this point the college lower division courses
provides the vast of professional knowledge on major which can
help me with a more specific understanding of what I need to
know mostly.After that,I will transfer to a four years
university to keep going on with my major study.in order to
start a career as an accountant,a bachelor’s degree is
strongly required by many companies.as a good student,i also
have to keep up my scores at an average of B+ after I graduate
from university,due to lack of experience,a small size of
company is the best way for retraining what you have learnd and
to obtain the precious experience as well.Meanwhile,when I
think the timing is right,I will seek for other opportunities
instead of getting used to the old environment.For example,I
can either change my job from a small company to a famous
company,such as Cisco System,Micro Software,etc.or continue
to study a master degree so as to start my own business
eventually,I will achieve my goal in the future.
