I prefer my teacher to use English only in class, a smart teacher can use his body language, pictures, etc. to show some simple words in class, such as desk, chair, boy, girl... then teach some verbs like "knock the desk", "clean the chair", "beat the boy", "love the girl" ... step by step, the teacher can tell some funny simple stories. By such method, I'm sure the students will forget about Chinese in English class, it's for sure helpful to make students brave enough to talk in English in future.
