Dear Sir   I am writing to recommend Tom for this year's Bravest Student Award.  Tom is a hard-working student. He does well in all his lessons.  Tom has many hobbies. He likes playing sports very much and basketball is his favorite. He is going to join the school basketball team next term. He loves animals so he keeps a rabbit as a pet and takes good care of it at home.  Tom is so helpful that he often helps his classmates with their lessons. He is also a polite boy. He always gives his seat to the old people on the bus.  Tom is kind. Last week on his way home he helped a lost child find his mother.  I think Tom has all the qualities to get the award. YoursDavid
