About special high school in NY.
Question:
1).High school and college which one is more important?
2).I'm an ELL now is that necessary I attend special high school?
3).If I do not attend special high school and attend for a normal high school will that effect my score and college I would like to go?
4).What do you think about?Should I attend Special High School?(NYC)
Tip:I came to U.S.for one year,my English skill is not perfect but I can speak,write,talk and listen for something that is not too difficult.In this case to answer the questions above.

Question 2:Do you mean specialized high schools in New York City?The specialized high schools of New York City are nine selective public high schools,established and run by the New York City Department of Education to serve the needs of academically and artistically gifted students.It may not be easy to get in these best high schools.
Question 3:US colleges would look at students’ high school scores and many other factors to decide the admission.To be the top student in the best US high school will increase your chance to get into top universities,but it is not guarantee.
Question 4:Many affluent American students make special efforts to try to get into these specialized high schools in New York City.As to your own decision,it would greatly depend on your own goals and situations.
