语法书中讲that引导的定语从句时,提到这一点：“用作关系代词,修饰表示时间的名词如day ,time等,代替when.例如：It happend on the day that/when he was born.”
在这个例句中,从句缺少的是状语.连接词when,that（that和which此句含义相同）表示的意思是：介词+which.可是,这句话的主句中已经有一个介词on了,那不就和连接词的介词重复了吗?这是怎么回事?
我看其他的when引导的定语从句在先行词前都没有介词.如：（1）I still remember the day when I first came to the school.
(2) The time when we got together finally came.

I still remember the day when I first came to the school.中的the day 作remember 的宾语
The time when we got together finally came 中的the time 作句子的主语所以不加介词
