many = a large number of 后面跟可数名词
注意: many a + 单数名词 + 单数动词 ( many a student)
= many + 复数名词 + 复数动词 ( many students )
e.g. Many a student gets sick today.
= Many students get sick today.

He has more chance than ever.

2. 另外的,附加的
