belong后面如果不接宾语为什么还要接to呢,试比较:

fail是不及物动词,后面接exam用in,不接就不用,后面什么也不用跟,就是完整的句子.
somewhere=where it belongs
记着把书放在它应该放在的地方.后面是地点状语从句,不是名词性定语从句,所以belong后面不用跟to,因为前面没有名词,这里的book是迷惑性的词语.
