In my opinion,translation is to use the target language to express the meaning of the original passage or text.This is a commmunication way between two countries with different language.

Translation theory and practise are just like fish and water.Without one the other could not exist.Translation theory could lead the practicer to a shortcut,and practice could make the theory become more and more complet and perfect.

As we all know,history is very important to the development of the human.In the same way,the history of the translation is also quite important to the translator,for from the translation history the translator could learn much about the translation practice and its theory,this helps them to master and do better in translation.
