While I was watching TV,my mother was cooking yesterday.
首先yesterday这个时间状语确定了整句是过去时,而While 做“当……的时候”讲时,后一般跟延续性动词,用进行时态,所以可以确定第一个空要用过去进行时哇塞watching.
