One possible version ：An important event that I remember well was Wenchuan Earthquake. It happened on May 12 2008 in Wenchuan Sichuan. When I heard the news of this event I was taking English class at school and my parents were watching games on TV at home. This event was very important to me because many people died in the earthquake. I felt very sad. The people there needed help. Lots of people from all over the world came to help them. I gave all my pocket money and some clothes to them.
