1) find
强调在经过“寻找”（look for）后“找的结果”（找到或找不到）,又可以表示“（偶然地）发现……”
如：I found a watch on the road.

2)find out
通常表示“弄明白,搞清楚,查明……”.
如 The teacher wanted to find out who had broken the door.
老师想查明是谁弄坏了门.
3)search for则是强调“查找,找寻”的过程.
the world's food chain中的's表示的是从属关系,世界的食物链,world是无法直接作定语来表达这个意思的,所以无法代替.
