  The Million Pound Bank Note is a short story by the American author Mark Twain    56      (publish) in 1893. The story begins     57     Henry Adams. Henry is an American      58     is swept out to sea on    59     Saturday sail near San Francisco and is picked up by a London-bound boat. He arrives in London penniless and without food    60     shelter. Brother A and Brother B (as they are referred to in the story) are two very     61    (wealth) and strange brothers who wonder what    62     happen if they gave the hungry poor stranger a million pound banknote.

  So Henry is given an envelope with the banknote and a letter    63    (explain) the terms of the bet. After finally reading the letter Henry decides to keep the banknote for thirty days and help Brother B win the bet.
