六、 The person I admire most is Edison. He was one of the greatest scientists in the twentieth century. He was famous around the world as an inventor as well. In 1879.he succeeded in inventing the lamp after thousands of times of tests. Edison devoted all his life to his research. During his life he had over one thousand inventions and made a great contribution to the development of mankind. After fighting against the illness for years he passed away at the age of 84 at his home in 1931.
