I first heard this story a few years ago from a girl I met in New York. Probably the story is one of those mysterious folk belief that reappear every few years. However I still like to think that it really does happen somewhere and sometime.

Three girls and three boys were going to Fort Lauderdale and when they were boarded the bus they were carrying sandwiches and wine dreamed of golden beaches. As the bus past by New Jersey they began to notice Vingo. He sat in the front of them dressed in an illfitting suit his dust face masking his age. He kept chewing the inside of his lips frozen into silence. Deeply into the night the bus pulled at a restaurant and everybody got off except that Vingo. He sat rooting in his seat and the young people began to wonder about him.
