be afraid of短语做谓语时,其否定句直接在be后面加上not即可.

2.改成：He listened carefully but (heard) nothing.
listen表示动作,hear才表示结果“听到”.
hear的过去式为heard,而不是heared.
3.改成：We put on our coats and (went) to the cinema.
and引导两个并列谓语,所以go to也必须用过去式went to（put的过去式还是put）.
