哪位高人帮忙修改下个人陈述,万分感谢~ 急（2）
Besides studying, I understand the importance of having time to relax. One of my hobbies that I try to make time for is learning the Chinese calligraphy. From childhood I dreamed of becoming a famous calligrapher though it is unpractical nowadays, because I love expressing my sense from that little brush. I also enjoy playing volleyball. I’ve played in various competitions before, and have helped to umpire junior matches at my college.
As to my character and personality, I think I am a pleasant and ambitious young girl. Besides I am very cooperative, conscientious and efficient.
As far as my English is concerned, I believe I am a bit better in listening and reading rather than speaking and writing although the mark of IELTS might reflect differently. My English teacher says that listening and reading are called ‘receptive skills’. Under the influence of Chinese English teaching methodology, many students’ receptive skills are better than productive skills. But now I am trying my best to improve my productive skills, and will take the IELTS in Feb. 23rd next year. I believe my English will be greatly improved in short time because I am still very young. Sincerely hope that my application would be approved soon.
