I have received the test results for the sample rubber material we have send for an analysis:
The results/list Index-Match-Compound Name it does not show as being very conclusive to any match. This indicates that it could be a mixture of many compounds or a reground material. You will not know it by the list but it does show that there is some EPDM with in the mix which also indicates that they are using a blend of material.
Normal results of material checks generally show a 90% plus Match to the main compound where these tests only show a 60% match to many materials.
Under the bottom line that means the factory is using a very cheap and actually unqualified material for its purpose.
Andy, we need to find urgently a supplier or manufacturer for CR/NR in China.
According to our information are very good sources in China and we don’t need to look anywhere else.
Please let me know if you can investigate or if we have to look for manufacturers/suppliers.
