答案和解析
1.音乐家:贝多芬 Ludwig van Beethoven,Composer
• Born:December 1770
• Birthplace:Bonn,Germany
• Died:26 March 1827 (cirrhosis of the liver,plus dropsy)
• Best Known As:The composer of Beethoven's Fifth
Mozart aside,Ludwig van Beethoven is the most famous classical composer of the western world.Beethoven is remembered for his powerful and stormy compositions, and for continuing to compose and conduct even after he began to go deaf at age 28.The ominous four-note beginning to his Fifth Symphony -- bom bom bom bommmmm -- is one of the most famous moments in all of music.(Beethoven supposedly described the notes as "Fate knocking at the door.") He wrote nine numbered symphonies in all:his Third Symphony ("Eroica") and Sixth Symphony ("Pastoral") are especially famous.Beethoven also wrote the popular "Moonlight" sonata (1801).
Beethoven never married. After his death his friends found letters to a lover he called "Immortal Beloved," whose identity has never been discovered...Beethoven's precise date of birth is unknown; he was baptized on 17 December 1770,and it is presumed he was born on 16 December.
2.报纸:华盛顿邮报 The Washington Post was first published on December 6,1877,by Stilson Hutchins.Hutchins had come to the nation's capital from St.Louis,Missouri, where he had been associated with several newspapers. His goal in starting the Post was to establish a newspaper at the center of national affairs reflecting the views of the Democratic Party. At this time, the era of Reconstruction had just ended with the controversial presidential election of Rutherford B.Hayes,a Republican, over Samuel Tilden,a Democrat,by a special congressionally-appointed electoral commission.Hutchins did not approve of Hayes's victory and his paper rarely referred to the man as "president." Within a year, the Post's circulation had reached more than 6,000 copies a day.The first Sunday edition was published on May 2,1880,making it the first seven-day paper in Washington.By the late 1880s,Hutchins gave up his editorial allegiance to the Democrats and began to describe his paper as "independent." By 1888 Hutchins had bought out the Post's only competitor (the Republican National) and,for a short time, published the Evening Post,an afternoon edition. The paper made a profit for most of its early existence, but Hutchins soon sold it to pursue other interests.
3.杂志 时代 Time
Major U.S.weekly newsmagazine, published in New York City.It was founded in 1923 by Henry R.Luce (as business manager) and Briton Hadden (as editor). It became the most influential newsmagazine in the U.S.,with a format of short articles arranged in subject "departments," which became the standard for later general newsmagazines. After Hadden's death in 1929,Luce was long the magazine's guiding force, and it reflected his moderately conservative political viewpoint.By the 1970s it had assumed a more neutral, centrist stance in its reportage. In addition to the U.S.circulation,editions are published in Canada,Europe,Asia, and the Pacific.
4.武打明星:成龙 Jackie Chan,Actor / Filmmaker
• Born:7 April 1954
• Birthplace:Hong Kong
• Best Known As:Hong Kong action superstar from Rumble in the Bronx
Name at birth:Chan Kong-Sang

Chan was a stuntman in the Bruce Lee classic Enter the Dragon (1973)...Chan is also the star of the television cartoon for kids,Jackie Chan Adventures.
