From to .I worked in an Indian trading company named xxxxxxxx as a merchandiser for one year.xxxxx is a trading company which has been exporting houseware,consumer electronic,toys,shoes,daily use items,ceramic ware to US,European and African market since 1997.As a merchandiser,My daily routine was to source products and locate the suitable factories,follow up the order and,of course,do stringent inspection on the cargoes before we deliver them.I have gained rich experience in sourcing and inspection on quite a lot of products like shoes,ceramic ware,plastic toys,MP4,daily use items and so on.
I am now working also as a merchandiser in dddddddd which is a public B2B website in HongKong stock exchange with 13 years of experience.I am working in the Buying Agent department which offers One Stop Trading service to foreign buyers,besides sourcing,I have to pay attendtion to exploring clients as well,.so I am requested to make international calls to Europe and Africa presenting our One stop trading service to buyers to persuade them into employing our service by signing a contract with us,Sometimes,I have to make calls to US and Canada in midnight,as you may know,US is a very important market.It doesn't mean an end to my job eventhough I managed to make buyer sign contract with me,I have to do his enquiry and collect enough quotations from not less than 10 factories,then out of which I send the most attractive ones to him for his reference,if he finds them interested and decides to place order to me,I begin to follow up the order and keep reporting anything new to my client.In a word,I need to do everything from the beginning of searching client till the client well receive his cargoes at his seaport which is something like I run a trading company by myself.I have learned quite a lot of special experience in this company like sales skill,how to communicate with client,sourcing.
