My father is a computer engineer.When I was young,I knew nothing about it.When I was in Grade two,my father went to Geneva on business.One night I found that my mother was talking with my father on the computer and she asked me to say hello to him.I was curious and asked my father why he could talk on the computer.He told me that we were chatting on the internet and there was much more interesting things on the internet.It was fantastic!Therefore,after my father came back,I begged him to teach me how to surf the internet.
The Internet is the most wonderful and useful thing that I have ever met in my life.Generally speaking,I use the Internet for learning and sometimes for relaxation.I can get a lot of useful information with the help of the internet.When I meet a problem,I will surf the internet to find the answers.And among all these websites,I would like to use Baidu and Google more because they can help me to find the things I want.What’s more,internet makes my spare time more colorful.I can chat with best friend who is in Jinan---my hometown to tell her something interesting in my school.Sometimes,I prefer to listen to music,watch a movie on the Internet or play computer games.It is great!
When I was in grade three,my father told me that I could build a blog to record something interesting in my daily life.He registered an account at sina.com for me and built a blog for me.At first,I tried to write several words about my school life,then I wrote some interesting experience.Now I have finished more than ten items in my blog and I even upload some photos to my blog.There are only three comments written by my parents and my best friend.Though my blog is not popular enough,I still feel very happy.
Internet is very useful but as a saying goes:” Every coin has two sides.” The internet is no exception.It provides us with a better way to do many things,for example,online shopping,information surfing or communicating with others.However,the internet has its disadvantages.Some children are addicted to it which may cause a big problem for the reason that children will fall behind if they spend too much time on the Internet.
The internet plays a very important role in my daily life but there are still some problems that the Internet has created.The first thing is that my eyesight is getting worse and worse because I spend too much time on the computers.Also,I would rather sit there and watch a movie than go out to do exercise or communicate with my parents and friends.Last but not the least,there is some information which is not suitable for children on the Internet.
In my view,internet is a tool to make our lives better and better but whether it is good or not depends on how you use it,especially for those children.If you use it in the right way,you can benefit a lot.If not,then it will harm you more than you get.I think children should let their parents know before they are going to use the Internet and let their parents control the time so that they can use it properly.
It is no doubt that computer is the greatest invention of this century.It has brought a lot of convenience to our work and study.It’s said that computers to modern life is water to fish.
If there are no computers we have to spend lots of precious time doing such things as finding information,shopping.Since time is limited,if you waste your time on this thing ,you will not have adequate time to do other things ,and if so,your work efficiency will decrease greatly.
But if there are no computers,the relationship of people may come closer.We may have more time to communicate face to face.The pace of daily life may slow down so maybe I have more time to play.
