自改革开放以来,中国经济经历了持续十几年的高速增长,随着经济开放的不断扩大,我国国内市场已经成为国际市场的重要组成部分,企业参加国际竞争的涵义发生的很大变化,许多世界知名企业在竞争日益激烈的条件下在中国市场上实施“品牌战略”,中国的品牌正面临着严峻的国际竞争的挑战,特别是加入WTO之后,我国大多数企业正处于同国外的强大竞争对手面对面的较量的境地,中国的企业在品牌竞争中任重而道远,现代日益激烈的市场竞争,从某种意义上说就是品牌的竞争,品牌已经成为市场的灵魂,一个企业甚至一个国家都需要通过品牌来进入市场从而占领市场,最终确立在市场竞争和世界经济中的领先地位.
但目前,在我国为数不少的企业领导层中,对品牌的认识上普遍存在着一个误区.许多企业领导者一说起品牌,往往把品牌仅仅看成是商品的一种标识,认为创立品牌就是多注册几个商标,多开发几个产品,而没有看到品牌深层意义上的含义.因此,本文首先对品牌和品牌战略做了一个基本的阐述,再通过海尔和澳柯玛两个企业实施品牌战略的案例分析了目前我国企业在制定和实施品牌战略过程中存在的典型问题,并提出了我国企业建立知名品牌及实施品牌战略的途径.
