    Tom was an orphan (孤儿). He lived in an orphanage (孤儿院). He always felt lonely and 1 . He felt he was nobody in the world.

    Then Tom took the stone to a jewelry market. A person wanted to buy it for 100 pounds and Tom didn't sell it. Later 4 buyer would pay more for the stone but Tom 5 didn’t sell it.

    The next day Tom took the stone to a jade (玉石) market. People there would pay much more money 6 it than the price in the jewelry market. Tom didn’t sell it either.
