文章从工件在加工中产生裂纹状况着手,在对工件加工过程分析提出,磨削时与磨削方向基本垂直的表面常常出现大量的较规则排列的裂纹,热处理后淬火钢的组织是马氏体和一定数量的残余奥氏体,处于膨胀状态.将其表面迅速加热至100℃左右并迅速冷却时,必然将收缩产生裂纹.因此针对裂纹的产生,采取三方面合理预防措施；（1）在零件材质方面：当零件硬度要求较高而不能在300℃以上回火时,便要在零件材质上想办法.（2）热处理方面：裂纹的根本原因在淬火件的马氏体组织是一种膨胀状态,有应力存在,要减少和消除这种应力,应进行去应力回.（3）磨削工艺方面：磨削裂纹的产生是因为磨削热所致,所以降低磨削热是解决磨削裂纹的关键.通过实践证明这些方面预防裂纹很有效.
