The Wind inthe Willows
I’ve read TheWind in the Willows in Chinese before.At that time,I was just an 10-year-oldgirl and was so attracted by the interesting story and the animal world whichwas so different from human society.Being a child,I had lots of fun readingthis amazing book.
Accidently,Iread the book again in English this summer.During the read,I was so happy tomeet all my old animal friends.The Rat was smart and energetic ,the Mole was still very gentle and Mr.Badger was as kindas before...Their experience was alsovery exciting.In the story,they Traveled in a caravan,rowed on the river andhelped the Toad get his hall back.While Reading,I lost myself in the book.
Turning over thelast page,I felt like waking up from a wonderful dream.I finallyrealized that The Wind in the Willows is not only a fairy tale for youngchildren but also a meaningful story that tells us a lot.It tells us to becurious,loving nature and every living thing around us.It tells us to valuethe friendship,helping our friends to make progress.It also teaches us that the life would be beautiful if we treated it ina right way.
From the book I leant so much about living andbeing a better person.So I hope more people will enjoy this book and face theworld with happiness and simple love.
